Booster pump control and pressure sustaining valve

The XLC 392/492 is an active check valve, that sustains the upstream pressure and isolates the pump from the system during pump starting and stopping to prevent and avoid surges and water hammer events.

Product features
• Body and cover in ductile cast iron GJS 450-10.
• Internals in ductile cast iron GJS 450-10 and stainless steel.
• Circuitry in stainless steel.
• Needle valves and flow stabilizers in stainless steel.
• Seat in stainless steel.
• Painting with fluidized bed technology RAL 5005.
 
Applications
• At the pumps to enable start and stop cycles avoiding surges and water hammer maintaining a minimum upstream pressure.
• To prevent water hammer during pump switching in batteries and parallel operation.
• To ensure an accurate and surge free check prevention system.
Standard and connections
• Design and testing according to EN 1074.
• Flanges size from DN 50 to DN 400 mm, higher on request.
• Flanges standard EN 1092/2, different on request.
 
Working conditions
• Pressure range: 10-16 bar.
• Minimum working pressure: 0.7 bar acting on the pilot.
• Treated water maximum 70°C, higher temperature on request.
